Privacy Policy
How we handle personal and related information in Renue Agent Monitor (operated by Renue, Inc.).
Renue, Inc. (the "Company") sets out the following privacy policy for the handling of personal and related information in the services it provides through this site (the "Service"). This is an English reference translation of the Japanese original; in case of any discrepancy, the Japanese version prevails.
Article 1 (Personal and user information)
"Personal information" in this policy means personal information as defined by Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information. "User information" means personal information plus device information, authentication information, operation history, agent usage information, and any other information the Company obtains in connection with the use of the Service.
Article 2 (Information collected)
In providing the Service, the Company primarily collects the following information:
- Account registration and administration: company name, organization code, admin name, user name, member name, email, password, department, etc.
- Social sign-in information: provider identifier, email, account name, and basic profile fields returned by Google / GitHub / X.
- Device registration: device name, OS, target agents (Claude / Codex / Cursor), device token, access-link expiry, etc.
- Session management: sign-in cookies, session tokens, OAuth request state, etc.
- Monitoring-related information: project path, branch, working directory, session ID, start/end time, duration, message count, model, agent type, tools used, edited files, executed commands, prompt content, security flags, diagnosis results (Insight), etc.
- Contact information: name, email, affiliation, and inquiry content provided via the contact form.
The Company does not collect bank account numbers, credit card numbers, driver's license numbers, or similar identifiers as ordinary registration fields.
Article 3 (Collection methods)
The Company collects information via user form input, sign-in flow, social sign-in, device registration, access-link issuance, the monitoring program running on user devices, and through the contact form.
Article 4 (Purpose of use)
The Company uses the collected information for the following purposes:
- Account registration, identity confirmation, sign-in, and account administration.
- Organization/member/device registration, access-link issuance, and onboarding.
- Visualizing Claude / Codex / Cursor usage, generating diagnosis results, and surfacing improvement suggestions.
- Usage analysis, service maintenance/improvement, new-feature development, quality improvement, and the Company's other business activities.
- Detection, investigation, and response regarding abuse, unauthorized access, and security issues.
- Responding to inquiries and sending important notices.
- Legal compliance and related matters.
Article 5 (Third-party provision and subcontracting)
Except where required by law, the Company does not provide personal information to third parties without consent.
However, to provide the Service, the Company may use the following external services:
- External authentication providers (Google, GitHub, X): for social sign-in.
- Generative AI providers (e.g., Anthropic): for generating Insight and related features.
These providers may process information as subcontractors or partners. Their policies also apply to how they handle such information.
Article 6 (Safety management)
The Company applies access control, credential management, transport protection, and other necessary and reasonable measures against unauthorized access, leakage, loss, or damage of personal information.
Article 7 (Retention and deletion)
The Company retains personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes of use, and responds with deletion, anonymization, or suspension of use as appropriate upon account deletion, deletion requests, legal obligations, or similar. Even after account deletion, per Article 7(6) of the Terms of Service, the Company may continue to use already-collected session data and diagnosis results for service maintenance/improvement and its business activities. Records required for legal compliance or dispute handling may be retained for the required period.
Article 8 (Disclosure, correction, suspension of use)
Upon request from the data subject for disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, or suspension of third-party provision of personal information, the Company will respond appropriately in accordance with applicable law after identity verification, except where the law does not impose such an obligation.
Article 9 (Use of cookies and similar technologies)
The Service uses cookies and similar technologies to maintain sign-in state and security. Disabling cookies in the browser may make some features unusable.
Article 10 (Changes)
The Company may change this policy as needed in response to legal changes or service changes. The updated policy takes effect when posted on this site.
